Meet the Tream

I booked this trip through Mountain Kingdoms not knowing who my companions would be, a risk maybe, but surely they would be like minded people who are mad enough to take on this challenge! I needn't have worried, all 4 of us get on really well and have a great Nepali team of 4.

Dave & Joy are from the Bristol area; Dave heads up a roofing company and Joy works for a children's charity. Joy is still unsure about this trip as Dave booked it without telling her!!

Mo is a cardiac Consultant surgeon based in Birmingham and shares my love of music - result. 

Our guide is Prem, on the left, and lives an 11 hour drive south if Kathmandu. His assistant is Pashang who comes from Mende, a village we are due to visit soon. 

Our porters are Son Kumar who is only 18 and carries much of our very heavy luggage and Kamal, who I hope will feature in photos to come. 

They smile all the time and are just a pleasure to be with. Looking forward to the days ahead.
